Worth knowing about

Can you take Zinc and Copper together?

Zinc depletes copper over time

What happens

Zinc induces metallothionein in gut cells, which binds copper and blocks its absorption. Months of high zinc can cause frank copper deficiency and anaemia.

What to do about it

Keep zinc under 40 mg/day, or add roughly 1 mg copper per 15 mg zinc.

Check your whole stack at once

Stackwise checks every pair in what you take, against your medication list, and moves things in your schedule when two of them need spacing apart.
